West Acres Kids - Sundays @ 10am
West Acres Kids, Sunday morning at 10am, is a time of worship and Bible Study that is geared toward children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Biblical truths are presented on a weekly basis through a variety of age appropriate and dynamic avenues.
We highly encourage you to get involved with what your child is studying and make application throughout the week with the “Weekly Update.” This half sheet flier has what your child learned about in Sunday School and West Acres Kids and upcoming events in West Acres Kids.
We also have Preschool small group rooms Sunday mornings at 10am. During this time preschoolers will hear a short lesson, eat a snack, and play with friends.
5th graders are encouraged to worship with their parents in the sanctuary at 10am. To help them focus they can take a 5th Grade Worship notes sheet. If they complete it and turn it in to the Kids Check-In area they can earn a weekly prize.

What is TeamKID? TeamKID is our Wednesday night Discipleship program for kids at West Acres. Each week kids will spend time memorizing Bible verses and have fun playing games. What is the goal? The goals of TeamKID are for kids to learn about God, know how to use their Bible, and Live for Jesus. To help accomplish these goals kids are encouraged to memorize scripture, demonstrate Bible skills, and participate in certain service challenges, which are divided into multiple “Challenge Levels.” As kids complete sections of each level they earn TeamKID points that can be used in our TeamKID store. (depending on the time of year) Safety and SecurityYour child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why we take great care in making sure our children’s building is as safe and secure as possible. We use a child check-in system that produces a corresponding label for children and parents for check out time, partner with MinistrySafe for abuse awareness training, and conduct background checks and check references for all employees and volunteers. We have security personnel during services and an onsite camera system throughout our building. We know safety and security is a priority to you, and we make it a priority when you entrust your child to us!
