Children's Church - Sundays @ 10am
Sunday Morning Children’s Church, aka "THE WAK," is a time of worship and Bible Study that is geared toward children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Biblical truths are presented on a weekly basis through a variety of age appropriate and dynamic avenues. Children will enjoy inspiring worship with our wonderful praise team along with drama’s with our outstanding puppet team.
We highly encourage you to get involved with what your child is studying and make application throughout the week with the “Weekly Update.” This half sheet flier has what your child learned about in Sunday School and WAK Zone and upcoming events in West Acres Kids.
We also have Preschool small group rooms Sunday mornings at 10am. During this time preschoolers will hear a short lesson, eat a snack, and play with friends.
5th graders are encouraged to worship with their parents in the sanctuary at 10am. To help them focus they can take a 5th Grade Worship notes sheet. If they complete it and turn it in to the Kids Check-In area they can earn a weekly prize.

WACKY WEDNESDAYS"Wacky Wednesdays" is our Summer Wednesday Night Discipleship program for Kids! Each week kids will sing songs, play games, and be taught important Biblical truths.
This summer, we will be focusing on the Armor of God! Kids who have completed Kindergarten through completed fifth grade will meet in our MultiPurpose Center (the MPC-the large gray room next to the Fellowship Hall) and preschoolers will meet in the classrooms on the Preschool Hall. (depending on the time of year) Safety and SecurityYour child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why we take great care in making sure our children’s building is as safe and secure as possible. We use a child check-in system that produces a corresponding label for children and parents for check out time, partner with MinistrySafe for abuse awareness training, and conduct background checks and check references for all employees and volunteers. We have security personnel during services and an onsite camera system throughout our building. We know safety and security is a priority to you, and we make it a priority when you entrust your child to us!
