Malone Morris - Senior Pastor
Malone is married to Kristin and they are the proud parents of four children. He served in the United States Navy for four years and was called into the ministry during that special time in his life.  He began serving at West Acres in 2017 as the Pastor of Discipleship and Missions and became Senior Pastor in July 2021.  He loves the local church and has a passion for expository preaching.  His desire is to serve Christ with excellence and to finish well.  

Education:
- B.S., Toccoa Falls College
- M.Div., Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
- Currently pursuing Doctorate of Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Josh Heath - Executive Pastor
Josh has served on the staff at West Acres since 2008.  He and his wife Mandi were married in 2000, and they have two beautiful daughters:  Carson and Kendall.  Josh is a graduate of Samford University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Josh enjoys sports and loves spending time with his family.  His favorite verse is Romans 5:8 – but God shows us his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Rob Neff - Pastor of Music and Worship
Rob is originally from Wellington, Kansas and is a graduate of Friends University in Wichita and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rob and his wife, Lisa, have been married since May of 1998 and have two children: Keaton and Rosalyn. He was called to serve at West Acres in 2014. Rob loves spending time with his family and restoring his old pick-up. His life verse is Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Alex Gonzalez - Pastor of Discipleship and Missions
Alex is married to his high school sweetheart, Tracy. They have 3 grown sons, 3 great daughters in-law and 8 grandchildren. He is a graduate of both Columbia International University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined the staff as the Pastor of Discipleship and Missions in August of 2022. His life verse is Phil. 1:6.

Keaton Neff - Interim Student Leader
Keaton serves as our Interim Student Leader during a time of transition in our Student Ministry.  Keaton grew up at West Acres and has a God-given call to serve in pastoral ministry.  He is a graduate of Greenbrier High School and is finishing his bachelor’s degree at Augusta University. He has provided leadership in our college ministry and participated in short-term mission trips to Alaska and Guatemala.

Peter Johnston - Pastor to Children
Peter joined the staff at West Acres on Easter Sunday, 2021. He is originally from Hampton GA & graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2009 and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2016. Before West Acres, he served as a Children’s Pastor in three other churches in Georgia & Louisiana. Peter married the love of his life, Maudie, in a small wedding in May of 2020. When he is not serving at church Peter enjoys reading, watching Netflix with his wife, and listening to podcasts while riding his bike.
